National Artist Roces: Honorary Louisian

Alejandro "Anding" Roces y Reyes (July 13, 1924- ) is a writer of fiction and essays. He was declared a National Artist in Literature in 2003. He writes a column for the Philippine Star entitled Roses and Thorns.

Mr. Evangelista received the BA in Law from Ateneo de Manila, MA in International Investment, Trade and Finance from Georgetown University, and was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Law by the St. Louis University in Baguio City.

Mr. Evangelista serves as President, Director, Trustee and Corporate Sevretary of numerous corporate and civic organizations, and is an author of many articles, speeches and papers.
